Como cada 21 de Mayo, nos juntaremos en un Pic-Nic en Vacation Isle Park.
Habra venta de empanadas, pero recuerda es un Pic-Nic!!!
Por disposicion de la Ley, en ese lugar:
No se puede consumir bebidas alcoholicas ni llevar envases de vidrio.

* Los ninos y sus familias podran participar de "Dibujando la Esperanza" para enviar un saludo a los ninos y ninas de Dichato, localidad costera de la VIII region de Chile, afectados por el terremoto-tsunami del 27 de febrero pasado.
Este es nuestro nuevo objetivo, ayudar a esa localidad para que junto a un grupo de Profesionales-Voluntarios abran una Sede Social por cada 100 Viviendas de Emergencia, con el fin de brindar un espacio de encuentro para los ninos que perdieron sus casas, lugares de juegos, escuela y biblioteca.
Este es nuestro nuevo objetivo, ayudar a esa localidad para que junto a un grupo de Profesionales-Voluntarios abran una Sede Social por cada 100 Viviendas de Emergencia, con el fin de brindar un espacio de encuentro para los ninos que perdieron sus casas, lugares de juegos, escuela y biblioteca.

Like every year and following a Chilean traditional gathering, we get together to share, remember and celebrate our Chilean spirit here in San Diego.
There will be:
- Activities for the children (games, races,etc)
- Tickets for the raffle ( a big family supply basket)
- Taca-Taca games
- Delicious empanadas (cheese- meat filling)
- Chilean pastries (brazo de reina, torta de mil hojas)
- Handcraft exhibition
- Lots of fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Children will also be able to participate with their families in the activity "Dibujando la Esperanza"- Drawing hope , and they will be sending greetings to the children of Dichato, in the south of Chile where its community was devastated by the earthquake and the tsunami last February 27.

Important:
San Diego parks do not allow the consumption of alcoholic beverages or the use of glass containers. Police can and will issue tickets to people who break this rule!
How to get there:
From South or East San Diego take I-8 to the Sports Arena Boulevard exit.
Make a right onto West Mission Bay and continue straight to Ingraham Street.
Cross over one bridge and make a left at the stoplight on West Vacation Isle Park.
